Just wanted to share a couple of ppc tips before I hit the bed for the night.  These 2 suggestions will typically work pretty well for you assuming your product is good.  These techniques are not new by any means…

I’m going to use Clickbank again for the sake of simplicity.  Search for a product (any product) that is performing well in the market.  Now find a competitive product (preferably cheaper) that is newer than the original and that may not be performing as well.  More times that none, you can go to the older product’s affiliate page and find ppc keyword suggestions.   Use some of those keywords for your campaign.  In your ad, let the reader or buyer know that your product is an alternative and is quite possible cheaper.  For one particular product, I am using the actual product name as my keyword.  So far, conversions have been great.

Tip 2:  Go to http://buzz.yahoo.com and look at the “Top Leaders” or “Top Movers” and find a product related to any given search.  Sometimes, you will find keywords with no Adwords ads posted.  No Competition!!  For instance, last night, one of the “Top Movers” was “digital camera tricks.”  I performed the search on Google and only 1 other ad appeared.  I found a product on Clickbank that was 100% relative to those keywords and sold 3 copies.  I was thinking about adding “Heath Ledger”, “Britney Spears” and “Lindsay Lohan” as keywords to a campaign to sell a Drug Addiction Ebook, but I felt bad.   :-)  Just remember that these keywords change often, so your best bet is to look at the “Top Leaders.”  Typically, these searches will stay up longer than the movers.  Enjoy!
